To mark World Malaria Day, catch up on the webinar from The Global Health Network Global Malaria Research Knowledge Hub that took place on 23 April 2025 featuring distinguished researchers from OUCRU and MORU. You will learn about the regional malaria research portfolio, including MORU/OUCRU's historic role in developing artemether-based drugs, surveillance of drug-resistant malaria, treatment trials, and the importance of trials in pregnant women and community engagement.

A framework for malaria elimination


The document provides guidance on the tools, activities and strategies
required to achieve malaria elimination and prevent re-establishment of transmission in countries, regardless of where they lie across the spectrum of transmission intensity.
 

This framework is fully aligned with theGlobal technical strategy for malaria 2016–2030 and addresses updates to policy and practice
